This is the street view of the outside of the building which sits just behind two large oak trees and down a small hill from Highland Road.
This is the reception desk in our lobby where you and your pet will be greeted by our friendly staff.
This is the view in our lobby. We carry a full line of veterinary shampoos, skin care products and supplements. We also carry Science Diet and Royal Canin prescription diets and Science Diet maintenance diets.
Our surgical suite was designed with the AAHA standards in mind to provide a sterile environment for our patients. It is equipped with the latest monitors and warming equipment.
The treatment room is the main hub of the "back" of our clinic. Our ICU area is just off the treatment area and visible at all times to our doctors and staff. This area also houses our in-house laboratory equipment.
The surgery prep area provides a place to induce anesthesia and prepare the patient for transport to the sterile surgical area.
This is one of our 5 exam rooms. We have one room dedicated to our feline patients and do not allow dogs into that room. We have 2 larger rooms with hydraulic tables to assist with lifting our larger patients.
We have an entire suite dedicated to dentistry! Our equipment is top of the line including a high-speed drill, the newest technology in ultrasonic scalers, and digital dental radiology. This room is equipped with the same monitors as our surgery suite.
We have an in-house pharmacy that is stocked with veterinary drugs and can fill prescriptions during your appointment for convenience. We also carry our favorite products for heartworm prevention and flea control.
This is the hall leading to our boarding area. Each of these rooms is an individual boarding suite. The suites have a window with a view of the back yard and a TV. This is the quietest area in our boarding facility and is great for nervous dogs.
We have digital radiology and the ability to send x-rays digitally to veterinary radiologists for interpretation. We also have ultrasound capabilities in-house.
This is our yard with NEW turf! We also have 2 sections of yard with grass. This is where we walk dogs and have our playcare sessions. We will be adding sprinkler play equipment and shades for the summer.
We have a beautiful NEW veterinary hospital that is a dream come true for your pets and for us. We relocated down the hill from our former site on historic Highland Road, just past the two gorgeous live oaks. We incorporated “green” building techniques during the construction, including a metal lifetime roof which reflects heat to make cooling easier. Our xrays are all digital, thus reducing chemicals in our environment. The long-lasting “smart flooring” is completely impervious so fewer chemicals are required for cleaning. Our outdoor environment is full of native plants and we use a water basin to capture rain runoff.
Do you know that proper dental care can extend your pet’s life by YEARS? Broken and infected teeth can abscess and be very painful. Infection can also spread to heart, lungs, kidneys and other organs and cause life-threatening illness!
Before the dental procedure we consider each pet’s needs and formulate an anesthesia plan just for them. All teeth are scaled, polished, and x-rayed, just like at your dentist’s office. Every patient has a thorough dental discharge appointment to discuss with you our findings and home care.

Routine exams are the MOST important part of your pet’s annual health-care. Exams and vaccinations are designed to extend your pet’s healthy lifespan and cover everything from dental exam, parasite check, and review of heartworm and flea preventives. These exams also help to prevent disease transmission to you!
Every patient’s vaccine schedule is tailored specifically for your pet. Do you know that some vaccines last longer than a year? We do, and we support the effort to stop over-vaccinating.
If you would like advice on introducing a new puppy or kitten to your household, just schedule an appointment. We are happy to help you select a pet that should make a perfect companion for your family. In addition, we can give you tips on health-care and training. If you already have your new family member, Congratulations! We know you are excited and so are we!
We like to examine your new pet as soon as possible to ensure you have a healthy pet and also to review what care they have received prior to you bringing them home. We will tailor the vaccination schedule and other needs to your individual pet.
We want them to last forever, too.
For senior pets, we recommend more frequent exams, proper weight and nutrition, and prevention of heartworms, parasites and fleas. We perform annual lab-work to help us screen for serious health issues.
Each patient’s vaccine schedule is tailored specifically for your pet. Proper weight management and dental care can help your pet live an average of two years longer!
