High-tech facility meets caring, compassionate doctors.
We have a beautiful NEW veterinary hospital that is a dream come true for your pets and for us. Our new, state-of-the-art facility provides us with the best technology and environment to care for your pets. Below are the veterinary services we offer at Highland Road Animal Hospital.
Do you know that proper dental care can extend your pet’s life by YEARS? Broken and infected teeth can abscess and be very painful. Infection can also spread to heart, lungs, kidneys and other organs and cause life-threatening illness!

Before the dental procedure, we consider each pet’s needs and formulate an anesthesia plan just for them. All teeth are scaled, polished, and x-rayed, just like at your dentist’s office. Every patient has a thorough dental discharge appointment to discuss with you our findings and home care.

Wellness & Vaccines
Routine exams are the MOST important part of your pet’s annual health-care. Exams and vaccinations are designed to extend your pet’s healthy lifespan and cover everything from a dental exam, parasite check, and review of heartworm and flea preventives. These exams also help to prevent disease transmission to you!

Every patient’s vaccine schedule is tailored specifically for your pet. Do you know that some vaccines last longer than a year? We do, and we support the effort to stop over-vaccinating.

Senior Pets
We want them to last forever, too.

For senior pets, we recommend more frequent exams, proper weight and nutrition, and prevention of heartworms, parasites, and fleas. We perform annual lab-work to help us screen for serious health issues.

Each patient’s vaccine schedule is tailored specifically for your pet. Proper weight management and dental care can help your pet live an average of two years longer!

Medicine & Surgery
We strive to provide you with answers, no matter the problem! Eye and skin diseases, acute illnesses like vomiting, chronic ones like arthritis, obesity, and cancer – we can help.

We have state of the art surgery and anesthesia equipment.

Safety is our utmost concern. We have upgraded to digital x-ray, ultrasound and dental x-ray to provide higher quality service to you. An on-site laboratory results in quick answers when your pet is sick.

Puppies & Kittens
If you would like advice on introducing a new puppy or kitten to your household, just schedule an appointment. We are happy to help you select a pet that should make a perfect companion for your family. In addition, we can give you tips on health-care and training. If you already have your new family member, Congratulations! We know you are excited and so are we!

We like to examine your new pet as soon as possible to ensure you have a healthy pet and also to review what care they have received prior to you bringing them home. We will tailor the vaccination schedule and other needs to your individual pet.

We also offer boarding and playcare!

Our patients LOVE our boarding suites that are complete with TV and beds. The more active dogs will enjoy the indoor-outdoor runs that allow for tons of room to run around with outdoor access all day at their own whim. Our beautiful QUIET cat condo area has a large window and a view of butterflies and birds! Cats can also relax in the suites – we have plenty of climbing toys and cat- friendly toys.
We cherish your pet as though they were family.
